Don't go to Thailand alone!

They say that single Russian women should choose another country than Thailand if they decided to travel alone. The fact is that several days ago the government of Thailand has issued the law forbidding Thailand women and foreigners going to bars and other entertaining places alone. It is quite dangerous because prostitution has recently overflowed the country and authorities have to struggle with it.

In the autumn of last year all entertaining places were forbidden to work after 2 a.m., then it was forbidden to sell alcohol to people who are under 18 years old. To tell the truth, it is not absolutely clear how authorities are going to put their laws into practice. First, they can't control all the places of the country. Second, for example, if you are asked to show your companion you can easily find him at the closest bar. Any man will gladly agree to pretend your partner. How will the government know who is the real partner and who is just the client for one night. They can't guarantee your safe either. So, you have only two variants: to go to Thailand with somebody or to choose another place for your travel.
